چکیده
The use of biostimulants and/or biofertilizers has acquired considerable importance and can contribute to the sustainable management agriculture, reducing chemical fertilizers, pesticides, water. This study aims assess effects Effective Microorganisms (EM) Olive Mill Wastewater (OMW) on growth, photosynthetic performance polyphenols content medicinal plant Tanacetum balsamita. EM OMW were used at two dilution rates. was added 5% v/v 10% v/v, while 2.5% in plants early growth stage. After 75 days treatment, all treated had a leaf number area almost 2-fold higher than Control plants. Moreover, treatments, concentrations applied positive effect activity, with an improvement both terms quantum yield photosynthesis electrons transport efficiency. best performances coincided production phenolic compounds; indeed, after days, chlorogenic acid, caffeic isochlorogenic acid even Also, rutin 1.28–1.50-fold respect extracts. highest compound reflected by antiradical found extracts effectiveness increase quality particular, potential cultivated crop confirmed this study.
